Sansum Narrows: Sansum Narrows (48º45’N., 123º34’W) leads from the west end of Satellite Channel to the south end of Stewart Channel and runs between Salt Spring Island and Vancouver Island; it’s narrowest part is about 0.3 mile (0.48 kilometre) wide. The area offers excellent boating, kayaking, fishing and a great amount of sea, wild and bird life.
